How To Like A Facebook Business Page As Your Own Business

In This Blog You Will Discover How You Can Connect With Other Facebook Business Pages With Your Own Business Page

Liking a Facebook Business Page as your own Business is a great way to connect with other businesses.

And by 'genuinely' reacting, commenting or sharing their content it's a great way for your own business to be seen, without being spammy.

Please note that Facebook loves to switch things up and change things around 'a lot' - so this article is a true account of how things look on 25th November 2016. Any updates will be made to this article as and when we discover new layouts.

Let's Get Started

In this quick step-by-step guide below you can visually see exactly what you need to do in order to LIKE a Facebook Business Page as your own Business, and not you (the person).

First of all you will need to do this from Desktop, as Facebook doesn't have the feature to like a page as your business page available on mobile. (annoying, right?!)

Choose the Business Page you want to LIKE as your own business. (I'm using good friends of mine, Greg & Brad from S1S in this example)

To get started CLICK the More Button just below the Timeline cover of the Business Page.

NOTE: If you can't see the More button on a page, then look for the 3 dots (•••).

A dropdown box will appear.

CLICK 'Like As Your Page'.

When you have clicked on 'Like As Your Page' the box below will appear.

CLICK on 'Select a Page'.

If you have more than one Facebook Page that you either own, or manage, you will have the option to choose the page you want to LIKE as.

Select the Business Page you want to LIKE the Business Page as, then CLICK Submit.

Voila, DONE!

Quickly View The Business Pages You Have Liked As Your Business

What if you want to look at all the Facebook Business Pages that you have LIKED as your business?

Well, it's actually really easy. Check out the quick step-by-step guide below.

First of all you need to be on your own Facebook Business page.

As you can see on my Ribbit Media Solutions page the LIKED BY THIS PAGE feature is located on the right-hand-side of my business page. Keep scrolling until you come across it.

Then all you need to do is CLICK the arrow to view the pages you have liked as your Facebook Business Page.

Once you have clicked on LIKED AS YOUR PAGE it will bring up a list of all the Business Pages that you have liked, as you can see below.

CLICK on the arrow to bring up a dropdown box (which is in Step 3).

Once the dropdown box appears you have a few options to choose from.

CLICK on Posts in News Feed

When you click on 'Posts In Newsfeed' you have a few options to choose from in the dropdown box.

If you Select See First it means that you're telling Facebook to 'Send me content from this Business Page first as I care about the information they share'.

This will allow you to decide whose content you want to see first in your own newsfeed from the business pages that you have liked.

It's especially great if it's an Industry Influencer in your Niche and you want to also share their content with your own Facebook Fans.

Why not try this out with our very own Ribbit Media Solutions page ;-)

How To Comment On A Post As Your Business

Another way to engage with a Facebook Business Page as your own business is by commenting, liking or sharing as your Business Page.

Below is a quick step-by-step guide how to do this.

Below the post you will see your own profile image with an arrow.

CLICK on the arrow.

A dropdown box will appear with all the Business Pages you either own, or manage.

CLICK the Business Page you want to comment as.

As you can see from the image below, you can now start to engage with the Facebook Post as your Business, and not yourself.
